Sunday Blues Brunch
Blues Brunch is BACK at Mouth of the South—and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re serving up soulful sounds, good vibes, and your favorite southern bites every Sunday. We’ve lined up some seriously talented artists like Hector Anchondo, Tom Pevear, Dustin Arbuckle & Matt Woods, Gunnar, and Steve Lovett to bring the blues to life. Hector Anchondo will be laying down soulful blues from 11am–2pm, while Executive Chef & Founder Ryan Ernst serves up bold, flavor-packed specials made for celebrating Dad right all day long.
We’re featuring our Old Fashioned just for the occasion—because Dad deserves a drink as strong and smooth as he is. Pair that with crave-worthy comfort food, ice-cold drink specials (yes, we’ve got the beer and bourbon), and good vibes all day long.
We’re open until 8pm, so bring the whole crew—or just Dad for some well-deserved downtime. Solo dads, dog dads and cat dads—you’re more than welcome too—this is your day.

Hector Anchondo grew up on a farm just outside Salem, Missouri, but proudly calls Omaha home. A true bluesman at heart, he’s inspired by legends like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Johnny Cash. After years of touring, recording, and sharing the stage with some of the best in the business, Hector brings his soulful sound and serious guitar chops wherever he goes. We’re so excited to have him bringing the blues to Blues Brunch at Mouth of the South—come hungry and ready to jam!
Steve Lovett Blues Brunch

Steve Lovett brings the soul of the blues to life. An Omaha native and major force in contemporary blues, Steve’s powerful guitar work and emotional vocals hit you right in the heart. His music pays tribute to the legends while adding his own soulful touch, inspired by artists like Ray Charles and Rev. Gary Davis. With a killer debut EP, hundreds of shows a year, and a true passion for keeping traditional music alive, Tom’s the real deal.
